Author: R. B. Solanki

Such plant and machinery must be used uninterruptedly necessitating shift working involving work at night too. Further, there might be a technological necessity in the case of continuous process industries to operate round the clock. Besides, there has been a growing demand for certain services, such as medical care, transportation, security, etc. to be provided round the clock. Thus the case for night-shift work is clear .
