Do you know how fit your child is? Most parents think that their children are not going to choose sports as their career. They are being prepared to be doctors or engineers. So, why should they bother with being fit? It is not true. Everyone needs to be fit irrespective of the age and career they choose. Physical activity can be a part of everyone's life. One doesn't have to be an athlete for participating in physical activities. Physical activity for children is recognized as essential for their optimum physical development. This is also important for establishing behavioral habits that are crucial to life - long health. Being parents we need to create the foundation for life - long healthy behaviors. Your child goes to school with a heavy load on his back. He sits for long hours to prepare for his school lesson, and work and play on a computer. He tends to feel tired, has trouble concentrating, and sometimes suffers from structural disorders, which affect the bone and discs, resulting in Scoliosis, Kyphosis, and Lordosis. We may not aware of these developments.
