After years of teaching the undergraduate and postgraduate classes, with bright young students sitting in front of us and being exposed to the long narrative of the lecture in the tight schedule threw open a challenge for us. We realized the little intricacies of the terms which needed explanation and understanding to the cor could not be done justice to them during the lecture hour. With new texts and elaborate books coming to the aid for better understanding of the subject the students are professionals something was amiss at a basic level. Psychology also has its impact and links with several other scientific subjects and thus is used professionally in medicine, sociology, anthropology, law and forum science, management, and education. Just about every field has an association w psychology. Sometimes the jargon becomes too difficult and leaves us desiring f complete meaning. Also, there are several books by foreign authors which  gives an excellent understanding of the terms but miss the Indian perspective and little difficult for young minds.
